The Briggs & Stratton 200 Amp Split 400 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with Service Entrance Disconnect is built with a NEMA 3R enclosure for both indoor and outdoor use. It provides all the intelligence your generator needs to keep power on when utility service fails—automatically sensing the outage, starting your generator, and restoring electricity to your home. Once utility power is restored, the transfer switch shifts your vital loads back to utility power for seamless operation.
This single-phase, 2-pole dual generator transfer switch is perfect for homes with 400-amp service split between two main circuit breaker panels. The Dual 200A Split 400A ATS combines two transfer switches into one compact enclosure, supplying both panels during outages and replacing the need for two separate 200 amp transfer switches. Designed for easy installation and a smaller footprint, this 2-in-1 solution is Service Entrance Rated and must be paired with a Briggs & Stratton standby generator.
