Herringbone Pattern

Installation Notes:
Use 4" thick firebrick for sidewalls.
Use full (2½" thick) firebrick for floor and back wall.
Always install with Isoset Firebrick Mortar (ISO-SET-BRICK).

Gas Burner & Log Set Options

If you plan to convert your Magnum+ fireplace to gas, please review the compatible options below carefully.

The Magnum+ fireplaces (84"–120") are built for dramatic, full-width flame displays and therefore require Jumbo Slimline Burners with matching Jumbo Slimline Log Sets. These components are special order items, crafted to fit your specific firebox size for optimal flame performance and heat distribution.

• Magnum+ 84" & 96" – Compatible with Jumbo Slimline Stainless Steel or See-Thru Burners (Special Order).
• Magnum+ 108" & 120" – Require a Custom Jumbo Slimline Gas Burner System, individually engineered and quoted by Earthcore.

Each system works with MVKEIKN (Natural Gas) or MVKEIKLP (Propane) electronic valve control assemblies and pairs beautifully with Jumbo Slimline Arizona Weathered Oak Log Sets.

Smaller vented burners may be used for demonstration or limited heating, but they will not fill the entire firebox and are not recommended for long-term installation.

Please allow additional lead time for all Jumbo Slimline and custom Magnum+ gas components, as these are built-to-order specialty systems.

Venting System

The Magnum+ 108" fireplace requires a Class-A venting system for safe, efficient operation:

• Eco-Steel Chimney System: Lightweight stainless venting for limited-clearance or modern framed installations.
• Eco-Steel+ Chimney System: Premium insulated Class-A system for multi-story, offset, or long-run chimney applications.

Installation Notes:
Minimum chimney height: 18 ft (straight) or 21 ft (offset). Termination cap or decorative chimney pot recommended for outdoor installations. Traditional masonry chimneys are not compatible with Magnum+ fireplaces.
